Position for Business Development Manager

Our Startup

At Drivit we use cutting-edge technology and data to make roads safer and help drivers be more fuel-efficient. Our tech can be easily integrated into any smartphone app to automatically detect, record and accurately analyze car trips – no hardware required besides the user smartphone – allowing companies (e.g. insurers, shared-mobility providers, fleets) to develop innovative and high-quality mobility services.

Following our most recent successes, and as part of our international expansion and exciting growth, we are currently looking for a talented Business Development Manager eager to work with our prospect clients to use our tech and support their mobility ambitions. All while we move a step closer towards a more sustainable and safer world.

Your Role

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll report directly to the founders and strongly contribute to our business development efforts, meaning:

  • Help manage inbound and outbound leads, both digitally and in person
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
  • Conduct high-level conversations with Senior Executives in prospect accounts
  • Collaborate with the founders to create and implement new market-entry, lead-generation and partner-enablement strategies
  • Collaborate with our product team to generate use cases, white-papers and other marketing materials
  • Collaborate with the founders to continuously refine our business, marketing and product strategies over the different stages of growth
  • Help design and coordinate targeted promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels

The requirements

  • Brilliant salesperson, able to quickly develop rapport with other people, understand their needs and have a natural talent for selling concepts and ideas
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven experience preparing written documents to be presented to an audience
  • Proven experience in selling products or services to major enterprises
  • Proficiency in English language, verbal and written
  • Self-learner, curious, comfortable with ambiguity
  • +4 years of experience in business development, management consultancy, marketing or related
  • Bachelor's degree in management, marketing or equivalent
  • Available to frequently travel abroad

  • Proven experience selling SaaS products
  • Proven experience in mobility or motor insurance
  • Tech savvy
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing
  • Proven experience in public relations
  • Fluent in German
  • Availability to work in our Lisbon HQ
